Your makeup is on, but now what? I will teach how to create and develop a clown character. We will talk about the essential elements of a clown character; face, body, voice. This is a great class for beginners and intermediate level clowns.
In this class I will teach the basic principles of utilizing clowning as a tool for ministry. How to clown in the different ministry settings, selecting props that help teaching biblical messages, and presenting the gospel as a clown. I will also talk about doing an invitation to profession of faith. This includes do's & don'ts, and basic ABC elements of an invitation. (Ideal timeframe 90 min. can be adjusted to 60 min)
I will focus this class in the performance. Many people use magic tricks in a show. Clowns, however, perform magic in a very different way. Clown magic has to be funny and sometimes the trick even seems to be in control of the clown. I will teach people to think like clowns and not like magicians. Also I will teach some tricks that you can make at home.
